Banoli Farm

Banoli farm occupies an area of 88.7 acre; 70 acres is under macadamia (currently 1 year old), 10 acres is dedicated for poultry, and 6 acres Passion fruits (Ester variety -one of the best yielding variety- from South Africa). We are among the first farms to propagate this new variety within the region and hope to expand its production through a darned network.

Poultry project – One day old chicks (Lohmann brown classic type) will be reared under international standards for a period of 4 months and transferred to laying houses where they will be fed with high quality feeds to produce quality eggs.

Production of Chicken manure and mixing it with lime to produce an organic fertilizer able to fix the acidic soils within Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gichu Counties.

Services

At Banoli Farm, apart from eggs production, we also engage in other farming activities, namely Macadamia and Passion Fruit Farming.

Eggs Production

We are renowned for production of high quality, fresh yellow yolk eggs that are laboratory tested regularly to ensure that they are salmonella free and therefore fit for human consumption.

We get our layers from internationally recognized breeders that have versatile layer breeds which have excellent feed conversion and renowned for producing high quality eggs.

We continue to modernize egg production and processing practices in order to meet the demand for nutritious, high-quality eggs.

We have very strict safeguards and practices that are followed to make sure our layers are healthy and to protect the quality of our eggs.

Macadamia

The venturing into Macadamia business was mainly to align our unwritten mantra – ‘nourishing our world’, with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages.

Our location provides a temperate climate which is perfectly suited to the production of macadamia. From seedling to fork, we have full control over the entire value chain ensuring complete traceability and a high-quality product.

Our processing systems are a world-first in the region, allowing us to pack and process macadamia nuts to the highest food and safety standards. Every macadamia is graded according to our quality criteria and we’re committed to preserving the fresh taste from tree to final product. We want every end-user to experience the finest macadamia taste possible.

Passion Fruit

We produce Ester variety passion fruits -one of the best yielding variety- from South Africa, for the local and export market. All our fruits are 100% organic, 100% Pesticide & Herbicide free, 100% synthetic fertilizer free, and 100% locally grown.

We are engaged in commercial production and marketing of the small purple passion fruits (purple granadilla) type.

We also provide training and mentorship on passion fruit growing as well as supply high yielding, disease resistant purple passion fruit seedlings to upcoming farmers.
